The new album is called 'Cellar' and is available now. Recorded in January and February 2010, 'Cellar' is a 9 song album largely written in Berlin but recorded in the Irish countryside of County Cork. This was done with a couple of mics, live in the kitchen out here - so it has good amount of birdsong and hiss all over it. A fairly random collection, with no real theme or idea at all, but there are a couple of songs that also appear on the new album that will be out on March 1st. So, technically we could say that's two albums in one month. Let's say that. Link is on the MUSIC page with all the others, or here. Also - 'The Wife' is back in stock - made some more. Not many, so please be quick. • 22/01/10 I'm finishing the new album / thing, with a proposed release of March. It's kind of lumpy and short - 8 songs and 30 minutes. I've finished the recording and will either mix it here or back in Berlin in a few weeks. Artwork will be typically handmade and shonky. Whole thing is typically handmade and shonky... Have started making more copies of 'The Wife' to be available really soon but I'm actually waiting for an order of blank cds that seems to have gone missing. Soon as I can it will be available to buy from here again. More songs have been added to the lyrics page and I've also started going through and making links to free downloads of single songs I've shared in the last few months available on the music page. I'm finding a lot of odd things that didn't go on albums or particular versions of songs from shows that were otherwise awful - so please check back as I'll be adding more this weekend. Shows are being booked for Germany and Switzerland in March - but I always need more so please get in touch if you can help. I really like house concerts... • 06/01/10 'The Wife' is sold out for a while whilst I make some more. This may take a couple of weeks... I am out of town writing and beginning to record the next album - I have a title and 8 songs, trying to write them all at once. Everything sounds kind of scrappy and loose at the moment, we'll see how things go from here.
