ABOUT US

Woodland Recordings is an independent DIY music label, founded in Brighton in the south of England but now based in Berlin. We release music and arrange concerts for musicians in Europe.

We have been recording and releasing music since 2007 and have organised over 300 concerts in England, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium and Spain.

We release music that we love in very limited, handmade editions - often less than a hundred. These take time and a lot of effort from us and the artists we work with. We don't embark on releases with people that we're not crazy about but If you would like to be involved with us please get in touch. We don't like a lot of things but we will get back to you.

Right now we prefer not to get cds in the post - please use dropbox or an alternative file hosting site if you'd like us to hear something you've made.

We don't use Myspace so please don't send links to your Myspace page - sorry, but we're difficult like that.

We'll try to reply to every message, but please understand if we're a bit quiet - most of the time this is a one man operation so there's rarely enough time for everything.

PRESS

We're more than happy to send you music for reviewing purposes, but we prefer to do this wth dropbox or something like that as we make so few of the physical releases - we don't really make promo copies of anything as a rule. Having said that - please get in touch at woodlandrecordings@gmail.com.
